Benewah County 4-H Program

The Vision

4-H...A leader in developing Idaho's youth to become responsible, productive citizens, meeting the changing needs of a diverse society.

The Mission

4-H empowers youth to reach their full potential through working and learning in partnership with caring adults.

4-H Age

The 4-H age of an individual is the age of the youth on January 1 of the current 4-H year (which runs from October 1 to September 30).  4-H is open to all youth ages 5-19.  Cloverbuds is a non-competitive educational program for youth ages 5-7 years designed to introduce young children to 4-H in a fun, non-competitive way.  4-H members ages 8-19 years are eligible to participate in all programs offered by 4-H, including competitive activities/events.
