Benewah County Ambassadors

There are 9 4-H youth headed to McCall, Idaho for the 2009 Ambassador Training. Returning ambassador are: Jordan Lockard, Molli Darden, Diana Bailey, Hailee Mabbutt and Joe Andersen.   New ambassadors are: Ashley Anderson, Kirstina Shattuck, Stuart Dundas,  and Leticia Scott.

Mark April 1-8, 2010 on your calendars.  The Panhandle Ambassadors are having the Second Annual Panhandle Ambassador Food Drive Competition.  In 2009, Country Kids 4-H Club, a Benewah County 4-H Club, was the winner of the small club division.  They are actually going to give a presentation at the Ambassador Training and hopefully make this a state-wide competition.

Benewah County Youth Advisory Board

** New and Exciting Opportunity**

This year, the Benewah County 4-H office is providing the exciting opportunity for current 4-H members ages 13-18 to apply for a position on our Youth Advisory Board. Youth serving on the Advisory Board must have completed at least 2 years of 4-H and must be a current 4-H member in Benewah County.  No more than 3 members from any given club will be eligible to serve on the Board at the same time. Selection of the youth to serve on the Advisory Board will be handled through an application and interview process.

The Youth Advisory Board will resume meeting next Spring when the new 4-H year is in full swing.  If you would like to serve on this board, contact the Extension Office for an application.  Also, please submit any ideas or concerns you would like the Youth Advisory Board to address.  The advisory board members are : Alyssa Lamb, Hailee Mabbutt, Jake McGregor, Kayla Nelson, Kirstina Shattuck, Leticia Scott, and Molli Darden.
