Benewah County Recycling Program
The recycling trailer is in operation and will collect
cardboard, newspaper, tin, glass, plastic #1 and plastic #2.
It is located near the B & B Espresso shop between the
railroad tracks and the dike.
Please follow the instructions at the drop-off site to
ensure success of the program.
The next recycling meeting will be Monday, November 2nd
at 5 p.m. in the conference room of the Federal Building—all are
welcome to attend.
A
big thanks goes out to those who have utilized the trailer thus
far. We are well
aware that we have already grown beyond what the trailer can
hold, but please, once the bins are full, do not over-stuff them
or place items on the ground.
Once the trailer is full, all of those extra items do end
up in the trash. We
will not be able to expand operations without extra funds, so if
your business or organization is wiling to donate time, supplies
or money, please contact the Extension Office.
Thanks for your continued support!
Thank
you to our October maintenance crew:

Please note: No
hazardous material will be accepted!!
