Extension Nutrition Program

The Extension Nutrition Program is funded through the USDA Food and Nutrition Services and the University of Idaho in cooperation with the Idaho Food Stamp Program, Department of Health and Welfare.  It is a free nutrition education program, covering nutrition, food safety, and budgeting.  Clients are recipients of food stamps or those  eligible to receive food stamps.

During the last year, it has grown to encompass all of  District 1 (the 10 Northern Counties in Idaho).

Funding from Aging & Adult Services this last year has extended services to address the needs of the area seniors.
