Lauren Hunter, M.S.
Lauren began employment with the
University of Idaho in April 2009. Her research background includes precision
agriculture, specialty crops, organic farming, and geospatial technology. She is
excited to join the Blaine County extension here in the Wood River Valley where
her skills can be put to the test with the local farming community.
She assists local growers,
primarily growing alfalfa, barley, and wheat. She also addresses questions
related to forest pest and disease infestations.
Extension educator
responsibilities include scholarship, outreach, teaching, and occasional youth
work with the 4-H staff here in Blaine County.
