    Leaders Council
         The Leaders Council oversees all the councils within the county and works in cooperation with the Extension Office staff to maintain the 4-H program, handle scholarship money, and conduct major fundraisers.  Any certified 4-H leader may be a member of the Leaders Council.  The 2008 Leader Council officers are:

The Market Sale and Livestock Council, Horse Leaders Council and Dog Leaders Council are all sub-committees of the Leaders Council but operate under their own by-laws and policies.  The Leaders Council meets the 3rd Monday of May, July and October.  The meetings are held at the Extension Office.

     Market Sale and Livestock Council
          This council oversees the livestock projects, and educational activities planned throughout the 4-H year.  The Market Sale and Livestock Council works in cooperation with and makes livestock policy recommendations to the Extension Office.  This council coordinates, promotes and manages the 4-H Market Animal Sale at the Bonner County Fair.  The Market Sale and Livestock Council meets the second Wednesday of January, March, May, July, and Ocotber. They also meet on the Wednesday during the scheduled fair.  4-H members, parents and the business community are invited to attend any of these council meetings, however only certified 4-H livestock leaders may vote when making policy change recommendations.  The 2009 Market Sale and Livestock Council Officers are:

    Horse Leaders Council
         The Horse Leaders Council oversees all the 4-H program activities and events for the 4-H Horse Program in cooperation with the Extension Office.  The council makes policy recommendations to the Extension Office that may affect the members and leaders in the 4-H Horse Program.  Any certified 4-H Horse Leader may be a member of this council.  The Horse Leaders Council meets the second Monday of January, March, April, May, June, July, August, September and the fourth Monday in October at the Bonner County Extension Office.  The 2006 Horse Leaders Council officers are:

     Dog Leaders Council
          The Dog Leaders Council is made up of 4-H Dog Leaders.  This council plans events and activities related the to 4-H Dog Program in cooperation with the Extension Office.  This Council works as a collaborative group and does not elect officers.
