The University of
Idaho Bonner County Teleconferencing Center invites the
community to share in technology that allows business, personal
conversations, academics and legislative testimonies to be
conducted anywhere in the world without ever leaving Northern
Idaho.
A
result of a collaborative effort between the University of
Idaho, Senator Shawn Keough, Bonner County and the City of
Sandpoint, the center is an example of a private-public
partnership that is working for the good of the community.
A special emphasis has been placed on the Bonner County
Teleconferencing Center's use for economic and community
development. The Center allows face-to-face contact for
meetings and discussions when time, travel or economic
circumstances prohibit travel. Programming can both be
delivered to, and originate from the Bonner County
Teleconferencing Center for the clients convenience.
The Bonner County
Teleconferencing Center also provides educational opportunities
in the form of academic classes offered from the University of
Idaho and other higher educational institutions.
