The
University of Idaho Bonner County County has two faculty members
and four staff members. Faculty and staff of the Extension
Office provide educational programming in horticulture, natural
resources, family and consumer sciences, 4-H youth development
and Healthy Families/Healthy Youth. We are...
Mike Bauer: Mike provides education in horticulture,
including nursery and Christmas tree growers and small farm
market niche agriculture. He also oversees the Bonner County
Master Gardener Program. Mike can be reached at

Susan
Traver: Susan provides education in community development,
data tools for communities, customer relations, leadership and
development, poverty issues and 4-H. Susan also provides programming in Healthy Families/Healthy

Chris
Schnepf: Chris provides education is forest ecology,
silviculture and other forestry topics to private forest owners,
loggers and foresters. Chris is located at the UI Kootenai

Kristan
Peacock: Kristan is the Bonner County Extension Office
Manager. She maintains the office, oversees personnel
functions and county budget responsibilities. Kristan is
also the Site Manager for the University of Idaho Bonner County

Nancy
Wright: Nancy is the 4-H Program Coordinator.
She facilitates the 4-H programming for all Bonner County 4-H
youth. Nancy plans trainings for leaders and
superintendents, promotes 4-H to community youth and is
responsible for recruiting new members and leaders.

Patti
Speelmon: Patti is the Bonner County Extension Office
Administration Assistant and Master Volunteer Coordinator. Patti
oversees the volunteer activities of the Master Program
Participants and provides support to all office staff.

Extension
Nutrition Program:
Extension Nutrition advisors teach classes at agencies such as
Idaho's Department of Health and Welfare, S.L. Start and Head
Start. Linda also meets with clients in their homes or at the
Extension Office.
