Age Policy - ALL ages as of 1/1/10 Cloverbuds 5-7 years old (this is a non-competitive program) Junior 8-11 years old Intermediate 12-14 years old Senior 15-19 years old | |

Shooting Sports |
§ Rifle – members must be 10 years old and have completed Idaho Hunters Education
§ Muzzleloader – members must be 12 years old, have completed 1 year of the Rifle Shooting Sports project. Maximum number of members is six, enrollment determined by seniority.

Livestock Requirements |
§ Members must be 8 years old as of January 1 to sell a market swine or lamb.
§ Members must be 11 years old as of January 1 to participate in market beef and must have taken 1 year of another animal project such as breeding, horse, swine, llama or lamb.
§ BEEF: 4-H and FFA members (regardless of age) planning on taking a beef project (market and/or breeding ) must pre-register with the Boundary County Extension Office by November 2nd recognizing that members may wish to secure project animals before December 1st participation deadline.

NOTE: Please be sure enrollment fees are turned in with the enrollment forms. If fees are paid via check, make payable to "Boundary County 4-H". 4-H FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE!!
Listed below is a breakdown of what is needed to enroll in 4-H whether you are a returning member, returning leader, new member, or a new leader. The packets contain ALL of the documents you will need to complete the enrollment process. Please note that there is different information needed from each of the packets, so please, if you are a new member use the forms in the new member packet only. Project lists, organizational club lists are included in all of the packets. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call Erika at 267-3235 or email at ethiel@uidaho.edu.
FORMS ARE NOT CONSIDERED COMPLETE UNTIL THE FORMS HAVE ALL REQUIRED SIGNATURES. PLEASE READ THROUGH ALL THE INFORMATION IN THE PACKETS!

Complete and sign the Enrollment form (this needs parent, member, and organizational leader signatures) | |

Sign (member & parent) and date the membership completion requirements form and commitment to excellence. | |

Pay the appropriate fees (make check payable to Boundary County 4-H) | |

Turn in fees and completed forms (last two pages in packet) into the organizational leader |

Complete the Project Leader and/or Organizational Leader job description form | |
