horizontal rule

The focus of the Beef project is to allow a youth to become familiar with beef animal science.  In addition the youth will gain knowledge of sound breeding, feeding and management practices.  Develop integrity, sportsmanship, decision making capability, and public speaking skills through participation in demonstrations, tours, and/or exhibits.

When a youth producer decides to raise a beef cattle project he/she takes on a large responsibility of caring for, feed, and training of the calf.
