Cassia County 4-H

*What is 4-H?  4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship and life skills.

The mission of 4-H is to assist youth in acquiring knowledge, developing life skills and forming attitudes that will enable them to become self-directing, productive and contributing members of society.  32,245 Idaho youth are enrolled in the

4-H youth program.  More than 4,250 volunteers assisted in providing education to these youngsters.

Today's 4-H is for all youth, from all racial, cultural, economic and social backgrounds between the ages of 8 and 18 years.  Cloverbuds are pre-4-H.

4-H is not only for youth, 4-H projects and clubs are made possible from the support of volunteers.  Adults can get involved in 4-H by becoming a club or project leader.  If you have a talent, or an interest in something and would like to help teach others, becoming a 4-H leader would be a great opportunity for you!
