Extension Community Development
The University of Idaho
Extension Community Development program focuses on creating
sustainable social and economic systems to improve the
quality of life in Idaho's communities.
University of Idaho Extension
Faculty focus on programming areas including:
Leadership
Development & Civic Engagement
Community leaders in Idaho need
skills to address the many changes they are facing. UI
Extension is helping to build community leadership through
community leadership
development training and facilitation, individual leadership &
skill building training, and non-profit board training.
Programs include formation of
community committees to build leadership capacity, workshops,
in-depth training & coaching.

This Community Data Tools project was designed to assist
Idahoans in gaining an understanding of the economic, social,
and demographic circumstances of their county in relation to
other Idaho counties and to the state of Idaho. Click one

QuickBooks-- Coming this Fall to
Orofino
This 12 hour short
course provides participants with hands on instruction to learn
practical record keeping skills. Training includes topics such
as working with bank accounts, entering sales information,
receiving payments and making deposits, analyzing financial
data, tracking inventory, payroll and more.
Customer Relations:
Customer relations
focuses on strengthening Idaho’s small business
owners and government organizations by helping them
to develop a customer service mindset. Contact
