Jointed goatgrass is a winter annual grass weed whose genetics are similar to winter wheat. Thus its control is challenging—it can hybridize with wheat and possibly develop resistance to herbicides. This publication explores its management with herbicides, specifically (Imazomox), including how to prevent or delay resistance from developing, how to recognize resistance in the field, and how to handle that if it does develop.
