Elmore County  Services Available

 

 

  • Mir-M. Seyedbagheri is a crop advisor and has helped many local farmers increase productivity while conserving soil. 

  • Access to information regarding crop profiles for Elmore County. 

  •  Access to information on population, employment and social trends of Elmore County

  • Access to information regarding agricultural statistics of Elmore County provided by the Idaho State Department of Agriculture.

  • Mormon cricket baits made available to public to help with the near eradication of crickets in County Fields.

  • Guides to Seedling Selection, published by the College of Natural Resources, are made available to the public.

  • The Resources of Elmore County is being compiled for distribution to County officials and local businesses, through the Chamber of Commerce.

  • Soil testing materials are offered, and interpretation of soil analysis provided by Extension Educator.

  • Insect, plant diseases and weeds are identified and solutions are provided by Extension Educator.

  • A West Nile Virus hotline has been established.  Through the use of the hotline, the cases of WNV in humans has been reduced significantly in Elmore County.

  •  Further eradication of potentially harmful mosquitoes provided through spraying of highly infested areas and providing dunks for standing water to the public.
