Nez Perce County 4-H and Youth

4-H is the largest youth-serving organization in the world. In Idaho, membership is open to all youth ages 5 to 19 who meet certain membership guidelines. Members between the ages of 5 to 8 years old are in a noncompetitive program called Cloverbuds. Youth from 8 years of age (as of January 1) to 18 years (or still in high school) can compete for various awards in the traditional 4-H program.  All 50 states and more than 80 countries world-wide have 4-H programs. People of all ages participate in 4-H, from pre-schoolers to grandparents. The list of 4-H projects is so varied that every 4-H member and adult volunteer is sure to be able to find something of interest.
