Major Programs: Irrigation and Nutrient Management, Crop Production, 4-H/Youth Development
Successes and Current Activities: Mr. Reddy provides technical support and conducts applied field trials for onion, sugarbeet, tree fruit, alfalfa, and small grain growers in Washington, Adams, and Payette Counties. He supports the Treasure Valley Pest Alert Network, providing weather related modeling data for prediction of tree fruit pest outbreaks. Mr. Reddy is a director/consulting member on the Washington County Orchard Review Board and a technical advisor to the Washington County Ground Water Committee. He teaches pesticide recertification classes for area growers, conducts multi-county Master Gardener programs, and provides technical expertise in the areas of gardening and plant/disease diagnosis for local clientele. Mr. Reddy provides supervision and support for the Washington County 4-H program and conducts Natural Resource/Wildlife Habitat educational programs for local schools, summer camps and 4-H clubs.
