University of
Idaho District II (Greater Treasure Valley Area) Extension offers
40 hours of free training (classroom and hands-on) in current food
safety and nutrition topics. Participating in related field
trips, advanced trainings and other social events make this
program a rewarding and enriching way to meet others with similar
interests. Many members become "veterans" and continue
volunteering far beyond the first year.
