Kit 3 includes the following topics:
GOT
H.I.P.P.O.?
A guided
brainstorming activity and a board game about the H.I.P.P.O.'s
of Idaho introduces kids to the major causes of declining
biodiversity. Students will also become familiar with some
solutions to reduce the loss of Biodiversity.
By the
way, we're not talking about real hippopotamuses here.
H.I.P.P.O. stands for the five major causes of declining
biodiversity. They are:
H - Habitat loss
I - Introduced species
P - Pollution
P - Population growth
O - Over-consumption
