Late blight is the most important disease of potatoes worldwide. Since 1995, late blight has occurred in all Idaho commercial potato production areas. This publication offers best practices for controlling this disease during all phases of planting and harvesting. Color illustrations will help identify infected plants and potatoes. Also, 18 potato varieties are ranked for susceptibility to late blight-both tubers and foliar.
