Since 2000, potato tuberworm, a difficult-to-control insect pest, has been detected in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. This publication describes its distribution, hosts, identifying characters, and biology and gives recommendations for field monitoring and scouting and for cultural, chemical, and biological control practices. Color photos depict the life stages of the tuberworm, potato damage, insect traps, and more.
